Sean, DH, Movie

I took Sean to the doctor yesterday morning since he was still fevered and was also having other symptoms (vomiting, etc.). Turns out he has strep throat. His first, and hopefully last, time getting it.

After dropping off his prescriptions, I tried to take a nap, but only managed to sleep for about 10 minutes before some salesmen rang the doorbell. I didn't answer.

We got Kelly from school at 2:30, picked up Sean's medicines and came back home. After an hour or two, Sean finally managed to get his 2 tsps down. *rolling my eyes* He's the worst about taking medicine. At his age, he should be better at it. Sean should be going back to school tomorrow. I'll have to get him up earlier than usual so he can take his medicine.

Charlie got home late after fiddling with one of his cars. He won't be home tonight. He's going to Gastonia and then SC again.

27 Dresses came out on DVD today. Hopefully I can get it soon. Maybe Friday.

Not much else going on. I'm bored and lazy today. :-\

Sean, Shopping, Busy day

As I said in my old blog, Sean's had a fever since Tuesday. It got to 104° yesterday. He has no other symptoms. Just as Kelly had no other symptoms with her fever. If Sean is still fevered come Monday, I'm going to bring him to the doctor.

I did my usual grocery shopping Friday. I also bought Kelly a few t-shirts and a skirt and Sean a t-shirt at Old Navy. I wanted to get Sean more than one, but they were out of his size in most styles and the styles where they did have his size were too dark for the spring and summer. They didn't have nearly as many to choose from in the boys as they did in the girls. I'll check out The Children's Place some time.

Sean was at my mom's while Kelly and I went shopping. After getting home and waiting for Charlie to get home from SC and shower, we went to Monterrey's for supper. Very good. We then picked up Sean from Mom's (he wanted to come home; he usually wants to stay at her house), came home, and watched some TV.

It felt good to sleep in yesterday. I tell ya, I'll be glad when school's out. I hate those early mornings. lol Anyway, Charlie got his hair cut and after coming home, went to Firestone to get some money back (they charged us for a couple things they didn't do), but then his truck (a work truck) broke down on the way there. Typical Ford. lol ;-) He called one of his co-workers to come get the truck with a flatbed tow truck (can't remember what those are called) and called me to come get him.

After getting Charlie, we drove over to Firestone. He took care of that and then we came back home. He then got some gas for the lawn mower and cut the grass. While he was doing that, I hosed off the front of the house (so dirty!). Charlie saw that I was trying to clean off the house (it had been months; mainly because of the water restrictions) and got some kind of sprayer thing and sprayed bleach on it. He scrubbed it with a brush and rinsed it off. It looks so much better. We then went to the back of the house where there was a big patch of moss, as well as dust and dirt, and cleaned the back as well.

Once we were done with cutting grass, washing the house and blowing and sweeping the grass clippings, we cooked hot dogs on the grill. It had been a long time since I had a hot dog (what with trying to eat less bad stuff lol) and they tasted really good. We watched "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade" while eating. I, of course, then fell asleep while watching the movie. lol

Charlie has to work today down near Charlotte. I'll be taking care of my sick son and probably just sit around being lazy.

I've decided to start up a Blogger page again. I used to have one that I quit using over 2 years ago. Since then, I've done all my blogging at my Yahoo360 page , but it's been having some issues lately. Sometimes when I click on "View Blog" my blog will show up as it should, with my newest entry. Other times, my blog will show up with an old entry at the top, as if entries made since don't even exist. I've about had enough.

I wanted to start new entries at my old Blogger page, but it's not letting me. Very annoying. Click here to see the old blog.

Nothing else to add at the moment. Anything I would normally add my Yahoo360 page will be added here instead.
