I love these songs!
"Awesome" by Charles Jenkins:
We sang this next song last night at church. It was our youth service (Youth Xplosion). Awesome song and an awesome service.

This and That
Easter: Unfortunately, I had to miss church because I was sick. In the days leading up to Easter, I finished up the Easter shopping for my kids - a new dress shirt for Sean (I forgot to get him a tie though, so he had to wear a shirt he already had) and sparkly, silver dress shoes for Kelly. (Who, by the way, at the age of 12, is already wearing a size 8 in ladies shoes. I only wear a six.) They rode with my mom to church. They said the place was packed. I wish I could've been there.
Sean's birthday was on the 9th. He's 15 years old now. I know I say it every year that I can't believe they're __ years old, but I can't believe that Sean is 15 years old. I wish I could rewind time and then hit pause. *sigh* I'd stop time when Kelly was 2 and Sean was 5.
We finally had Sean's cake last night. Between my being sick and other things, we had to put it off. But Sean didn't mind. I decorated in Carolina blue and white, just as he wanted. :-)
Charlie is going to Texas again this morning. The panhandle this time. (It was Houston last time.) Actually, he said the town is not only in the panhandle of Texas, but is also called Panhandle. Ha. He said he'll probably be gone for a couple weeks. He'll be driving instead of flying this time and may be taking his dog Milo (aka Julio, that's what I call him sometimes lol) with him.
The kids were on Spring Break last week. It was back to school yesterday. And back to getting up early in the morning and bringing them to school. Ugh. I'll be so glad when summer gets here.
And now this sniffly woman (so sick of being sick!) is going to end this blog entry and make my way to bed. It's nearly 2:00 AM and I have to get up at 7:00.
