I'm a movie lover and I try to see most new movies when they come out. Most of the time I'll wait for the DVD/Blu-Ray and rent them. I recently saw two movies (one of them late last year) that are getting a lot of praise, nominations and awards and I have to say, I don't get why.
Moneyball - one of the most boring movies I've ever seen. I dozed off a few times towards the end of the movie. Charlie watched it the day after I did (while the kids and I were at church) and agreed that it's pretty boring.
Midnight in Paris - boring in parts, annoying in parts and just generally only an okay movie.
Anyone else not care for these movies or did you like them?

We put our house on the market a few years ago. We kept it on the market for a year before removing it in November 2008. We've been waiting ever since then until we feel like the time is right to put it back on the market. We've been waiting on the economy to improve. In the meantime, the value of our house has gone down (I don't know if we'd even make a profit without God's help) and between the kids and the pets, our house is in need of new carpet, new paint and some minor repairs. *sigh*
Over three years later and we want to get out of here more than ever. But something occured to me a couple months ago. I mentioned it to Charlie and he agreed. Our car should be paid off in about a year (about 11-13 months), so I suggested that we wait until after our car is paid off so that we'll have that extra $400 each month. We could then use at least part of that towards the new house payment of whatever house we end up getting. We both want more in our new (to us) home than what we have in this house and though we're also not interested in anything huge or expensive (we're fine with getting a house that needs paint, new flooring, new counters, minor repairs; we can handle that) we know that the next house we buy will probably cost more per month than what we're paying now.
Hopefully we can sell our house and buy a new one next year or the year after that. After all the house hunting I've done, both in person and online (still looking at houses online), and all the houses I've seen on House Hunters, I've decided that what I want is a brick ranch. I'm not interested in anything big or fancy and while there are many home styles I love, a brick ranch seems to have much to offer, often for a reasonable price. Charlie agrees about getting a brick ranch.
We'd like four bedrooms (the 4th bedroom would be the library/office), no open floor plan (our current house is an open floor plan and I hate it), living room, basement with a den (which would be our home theater room - complete with dark walls and floor lights), a bigger kitchen, formal dining room, 2-2½ bathrooms, big laundry room (instead of a laundry closet), fenced in backyard, mature trees, 2-3 car garage. We want to live in the country with no close neighbors and a nice view of trees and hills. We want peace and quiet and the beauty of nature around us.
